Match Management Funding For Staff Training

What Is Match Funding? How Does It Work?

This is issued by the East Midlands Skills Brokers, to companies that have training needs for staff in supervisory / managerial roles. The skills broker will provide up to 50% funding and funding is allocated to companies as follows: 

Companies with:

0 to 49 employees  - will be entitled to 4 staff funding places.

50 – 99 employees - will be entitled to 3 staff funding places.

100 – 149 employees - will be entitled to 2 staff funding places.

150+ employees - will be entitled to 1 member of staff funded.

For example, if the cost of training is £2000 per person each candidate will receive the following amount of funding subject to the criteria above:

1st  Candidate - £1000
2nd Candidate - £750
3rd  Candidate - £500
4th  Candidate - £250

Through the match-funding scheme we are able to deliver NVQ’s, ILM’s (Institute of Leadership and Management) as well as non – accredited training workshops and one to one training in a wide range of subjects.
